  • Mission statement

The Mary How Trust for Cancer Prevention is a local charity that offers health screenings to spot the early signs of serious illnesses like bowel cancer, prostate cancer, diabetes and heart disease.

Men and women from all walks of life have the chance to benefit from this service: instead of a fixed fee we invite donations that are dependent on your ability to pay.

An independent charity, we receive no NHS funding. With donations, fundraising and gifts in wills, our remarkable supporters help to make health screening and healthy living advice accessible to all. Together, we transform people’s lives!

25 years ago we made a promise to improve the health of men and women through the prevention and detection of illness. With the help of our wonderful supporters, we’ve been able to keep our promise – and we’re proud to mark our silver jubilee.

Thank you for your support. Thank you for giving people a healthier future.
