The Wirral Society of The Blind and Partially Sighted

The Society promotes self help and independent living of blind and partially sighted people. To fulfill this aim, the Society provides a range of services including: a Resource Centre equipped with low vision and daily living aids, home visiting service, Advocacy and support groups, Computer Training Courses, Hospital Outreach Service and Social and Activity Groups.

We have adopted a 'User Led' approach recognising the importance of client consultation with the delivery of services. Encouraging service users to become actively involved with the organisation ensures services and activities are organised from a subjective angle.
