The Arnold Foundation for Rugby School

Under the umbrella of the Arnold Foundation for Rugby School, which is funded through donations and gifts, Rugby School is able to offer life changing opportunities for young people who would benefit from a boarding education, but whose parents are unable to afford the fees. We are committed to broadening access, avoiding social exclusiveness and ensuring that the maximum number of boys and girls can benefit by directing financial support where it is needed most. There are currently 28 pupils in Arnold Foundation places at Rugby School.

The Arnold Foundation is unique because it is so carefully targeted. The School does not advertise for pupils but works principally with 'partner' educational charities based in deprived inner city areas in the UK who are dealing first hand with social exclusion and underachievement. These organisations identify suitable candidates and are fully involved in the whole application process.

We are working closely with IntoUniversity and EYLA (Eastside Young Leaders Academy) who assist with the identification of candidates.
