  • Mission statement

Operating in the area between what core policing can realistically provide and what we would all like to see in our communities, the Kent People’s Trust plays a vital role in supporting community safety projects that work. From skate parks for young people to refuges for victims of domestic violence, youth clubs to security education for the elderly, graffiti cleanup to CCTV, youth mentoring to drug rehabilitation schemes, the Trust will help wherever need is identified.

Our objective is to help reduce crime and improve safety. The Trust supports all types of community safety work but particularly focuses on providing a positive future for young people through education, diversionary activity, and mentoring. It also works hard to reduce domestic violence with counselling, information and support services.
