The Prince's Trust

We believe that every young person should have the chance to succeed. It is our mission to help young people transform their lives by developing the confidence & skills to live, learn and earn.

Founded 1976

  • Mission statement

The Prince’s Trust champions young people no matter what their background.

Without the right support, those from the most challenging backgrounds might never achieve their potential. Despite lives stifled by unemployment, homelessness, growing up in care or being in trouble with the law, young people can succeed with your help.

In 2016/17, the generous gifts of time and money from supporters like you helped 57,000 young people to get their lives on track. What we do really does work; three in four of the young people who complete a Prince’s Trust course move into work, education or training.

It is our ambition to help the next 1 million young people over the next 10 years; giving young people an increasing stake in our economy and society. We will do this by being the best organisation, by putting young people at the heart of everything we do, and with the help of our loyal volunteers, donors, and partners.

Together, we can change even more young lives.
