Founded 2004

  • Mission statement

The Soko Fund is not only interested in the personal development of the individual students but also in the development of Malawi as a country by providing qualified professional for education, health, agriculture, and business. Therefore, the Fund supports students studying vocational subjects such as: teaching, nursing and medicine, food and nutrition, agriculture, forestry, and business development. We work through the university to support students by covering tuition fees, accommodation, and a small fund for books and other equipment.
The Soko Fund believes in supporting the systems and structures already in place in Malawi. We believe it is only though helping people to strengthen these structures that Malawi can truly develop
