The Thrangu Rinpoche Trust

The Thrangu Rinpoche Trust was set up in 1981, to contribute towards a peaceful and loving society by promoting Buddhism and providing facilities to the students of Thrangu Rinpoche and the wider public to learn and practise Buddhism. For this purpose, the Trust manages a Tibetan Buddhist Centre in the heart of Oxford, directed by a resident Tibetan monk, Lama Karma Wangyal.
The Trust is dedicated to helping people bring about happiness for themselves and others by the transformation of the mind and negative tendencies into lasting positive attitudes. To achieve this in the fullest way possible, the Trust is working hard to found a monastery and monastic community in the UK.
