Craven Community & Voluntary Services

We are the local support and development organisation for the whole of Craven. We provide training, advice & information to voluntary & community groups as well as identifying & securing resources.

  • Mission statement

    CCVS exists to promote, support represent and, develop the work of the voluntary and community sector and to delivering services which improve the quality of life of its users.

    CCVS achieves this by providing service for the voluntary and community sectors such as affordable IT support, administration services, office support, advice and information, recruitment and retention advice. In addition to the above, due the rurality of Craven, CCVS delivers a direct service of relief care for primary carers.

    Craven Community & Voluntary Services aims to:

    • To provide training, advice, information and support to voluntary and community organisations and individuals.
    • To identify and secure resources for Craven CVS, our local community and voluntary sector partners and groups of local people so that they can provide sustainable services which address unmet needs.
    • To ensure that the voice and work of the voluntary and community sector is heard and respected at district, regional and national level.
    • To ensure equality of opportunity and access to services for all.
