We are a small non-political organisation based in Sreepur, rural Bangladesh. SPP works with destitute mothers and their children to give them the health, knowledge and skills they need to function independently in society.

  • Mission statement

    The Sreepur Village is a purpose built village, 30 miles north of Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital city. We provide a place of safety, food, medical care, education and livelihood training to destitute women and children.

    We currently have over 600 mothers and children in our care at the Village. We also run an overnight shelter in Dhaka supporting up to 100 children a month.

    The Sreepur Village, Bangladesh aims to:

    • To increase the life-opportunities of destitute women and children in Bangladesh so that our beneficiaries can break free from the trappings of poverty and live with dignity and respect.
