RSPCA Suffolk East and Ipswich Branch

RSPCA Suffolk East and Ipswich Branch is an independent registered charity committed to providing animal welfare services in Suffolk. We run an Animal Re-homing Centre at Martlesham, Suffolk and a Veterinary Clinic in Ipswich, Suffolk.

We are entirely self-financing and rely on donations, legacies, our two charity shops in Suffolk and fundraising events to run the Branch. We receive no money from the Government or Lottery, and although affiliated to the National RSPCA receive no automatic funding from it.

Each year we re-home over 500 domestic animals and treat hundreds of wild animals and birds in our Wildlife Unit. At our Veterinary Clinic annually we provide heavily subsidised treatment to around 2000 animals belonging to members of the public who are on low incomes and unable to afford private veterinary care.
