Christian Engineers in Development

CED offers a quality professional engineering service at minimum cost to overseas communities and development agencies to enable them to address some of the underlying causes of poverty and ill-health. Beneficiaries are certainly not restricted to Christian communities, even though in practice much work comes through Dioceses and Christian development agencies. Improved water supply is the most frequent, but by no means the only, requirement.

CED policy is to establish partnerships with local communities and promote self-help with the maximum use of local resources of manpower and materials. CED does not have projects of its own; it always helps local communities or organisations with their own projects, provided they are considered viable.
