The Joshua Foundation

The Joshua Foundation is a children's cancer charity, which provides holidays and experiences, for children and their families where the child has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
The charity takes it's name from Joshua Cornelius, who unfortunatly was diagnosed with a very rare form of abdominal cancer in the December of 1996. Upon Joshua's diagnosis his mum was informed that his cancer was terminal and she made a very important decision to give up work and take Joshua off around the world so that he could see and do as many things as he could in the short time he had left.
Unfortunatly, Joshua passed away in the December of 1998, however he did live life to the full and made the most of each day he had.
The Joshua Foundation has now gone on to raise over £3. 5 million pounds for children with terminal cancer and we have worked with in excess of 600 hundred families across the UK.
The idea behind the charity is that we make life a real experience for children with terminal cancer.
