Willow Project

We offer counselling and support to young people living in the Wigan Borough, aged 6-19 who are affected by emotional & mental health issues. We also offer counselling to parents and carers of the young people who access our service.

    The Willow Project aims to provide a quality service to vulnerable children and young people affected by emotional and mental health issues, enabling them to make positive choices and reach their potential.

    Willow Project aims to:

    • To work with young people to increase self esteem and confidence by looking at coping strategies, building resilience and developing aspirations for the future.
    • To engage young people in group work to enable them to develop healthy, respectful relationships and improve social skills.
    • Work with parents, carers and families to further support young people.
