Willow provides counselling to young people age 11-19 living in the Wigan Borough who are affected by various issues including alcohol , domestic abuse, self harm, bereavement and domestic abuse.

  • Mission statement

    The Willow Project provides counselling to young people aged 11 to 19 living in the Wigan borough. Priority is given to young people affected by alcohol, but we also take referrals for issues around relationships, emotional issues, self harm, bereavement and drug issues. We work across the borough at various places which are safe and easily accessible for clients. The service we offer is confidential working alongside safeguarding policies.

    Willow Project aims to:

    • To work with young person to increase self esteem and confidence.
    • To help young person improve coping mechanisms and resiliance therefore improving quality of life.
    • To develop hope and aspirations for a healthy and satisfying future
