  • Mission statement

Blue Cross finds happy homes for abandoned or unwanted pets, and we keep pets healthy by promoting animal welfare and providing treatment. Every year we find homes for thousands of dogs, cats, horses and small animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, mice and gerbils

Blue Cross is a registered UK animal welfare charity. Our aims are to help needy pets, and their owners, and to encourage and promote kindness to animals by providing information and education.

We provide support to the nation's pets and their owners by:
    · finding permanent homes for unwanted or abandoned animals
    · treating pets whose owners cannot afford private veterinary treatment
    · educating the public in responsible animal ownership

We also offer a Pet Bereavement Support Service which is available 365 days a year to help people who are struggling to cope with the loss of a pet.

  • Aims
