We provide free, independent legal advice on welfare benefits, housing, family law and asylum to residents of Gloucester and in some cases Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas.

    We are a team of solicitors and experienced legal advisers dedicated to the relief of poverty and hardship and through the provision of free, high quality, independent legal advice and casework in the following areas of social welfare law and human rights : housing, welfare benefits, immigration and asylum.

    Our work helps prevent homelessness, , family breakdown, exploitation and abuse and enables individuals to protect and enforce their legal rights. Gloucester Law Centre was established in 1985 and is funded by Gloucester City Council, Gloucester County Council, Gloucester City Homes and the Legal Services Commission.
