Railway Children fight for children living on the streets. We provide protection and opportunity for children with nowhere else to go and nobody to turn to.

  • Mission statement

    Railway Childrens mission as a key player is to ensure effective interventions and facilitate collective action of the issue in creating sustainable change in the lives of street children.

    We race to reach children as soon as they arrive on the streets and intervene before an abuser can. Our pioneering work enables us to get to street children before the streets get to them.

    The focus of our work is stopping the abuse of children living on the streets, through early intervention and family reintegration. We currently work with over 23 partner organisations across East Africa, Asia, and the UK.
