The target groups: Vulnerable children and young people, with their peers and within their families, schools and communities, with an emphasis on those who are hardest to reach and at risk of been involved in the criminal justice system, including black minority ethnic and refugee groups and the disabled. Many of the children and young people targeted will have had long standing or multiple problems to address, namely anti-social behavior and crime, particularly amongst the most deprived residents, age group 10-17 years. They will be assisted with assessing their current situation, planning, implementing and reviewing decisions they took to gain better quality of life.

Activities to achieve aims: Outreach, residential adventure and non- residential activities, one-to-one information and advice, assistance with CV, training courses, school visits, college placements, job search and applications, including the arts, sports, workshops, group discussions and mentoring.
Children and Young people involvement: Beneficiaries’ inputs are crucial to the success of the Foundation’s work. Beneficiaries have their representatives on project management and Main Management Committees. It is a firm and applied policy of the Foundation that a cross section of children and young people must be consulted about services, at all levels, including assessments of needs, planning, implementation and review. Children and young people will have had opportunities to engage in constructive voluntary work and community engagement. Induction and personal development training are offered to all concerned.
