POLEGATE QUAKER TRUST

The Polegate Quaker Trust, formed in 2003, exists to establish and maintain a capital fund to help residents or prospective residents of the Bernhard Baron Cottage Homes cover residency costs when these are beyond their existing resources.
The BBCH is a community residential home for 63 elderly people, where the ethos continues to express the Quaker Testimony of loving and caring. Although charges are kept as low as possible, many residents are now finding that their fixed pensions and Social Service grant are no longer sufficient.
The Trust urgently needs help to build up a larger capital fund in order to assist the increasing number of residents who are outliving their resources.
