  • Mission statement

The Soldiers' Charity's mission is to:

    - Give a lifetime of support to serving and retired soldiers and their families in need.

    - Make grants to individuals through their Regiments and Corps.

    - Make grants to specialist organisations and charities that help soldiers and their families.

    - Work with veterans of every conflict, including World War Two and those from current operations.

    - Make grant payments quickly, and this responsiveness can made a significant difference at a critical point in people's lives.

  • Aims

ABF The Soldiers' Charity aims to:

    • Provide reliable and appropriate life-long support to those in need.
    • Act in co-ordinated collaboration with the Army at every level and co-ordinate, co-locate (where appropriate) and converge with other Service charities sharing similar objectives to our own.
    • Achieve wider public recognition, awareness of and support for the Charity's work and adopt a 'Digital-First' strategy to enable more effective working.
    • Maximise net income generation against the need for assistance.
    • Ensure our structure, governance, ethos and processes enable effective, responsive and accountable working. Ensure our reserves are kept at an appropriate level compatible with grant giving.
