Centre for Equality and Diversity

The Centre for Equality and Diversity (CfED) is an organisation that is working in the field of social welfare with some of the most vulnerable, marginalised and excluded people within our community. CfED began in 2006 and continues to strive to expand its programmes and offerings to the community – of which over 5,000 people directly benefit from our activities each year. These include young and elderly people migrants and those living in deprived and disadvantaged areas across the borough of Dudley.
CfED aim is to be a leading agency in changing attitudes, challenging inequalities, influencing policies and build partnership to bring about a fairer society. Our over aching objective helps us to work with communities whereby they are supported in the building of skills and capacity, empowering them to actively engage in the decision making process and develop confidence in responding and supporting their own communities.
