  • Mission statement

The Wildlife Trust for Sheffield and Rotherham works with local people to make the natural world relevant to everyone's daily lives, by increasing understanding of the natural world and providing opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors. We also help protect and enhance the environment by creating havens, for the benefit of both people and wildlife and to achieve a sustainable future for the planet. We need your help us ensure a secure future for Sheffield's wildlife and wild places.

A member of the Wildlife Trusts partnership, Sheffield Wildlife Trust is a local, independent charity working for a Living Landscape richer in wildlife, that connects green spaces help wildlife and people combat the effects of climate change.

Our vision is for "an environment where everyone has easy access to high quality, safe, wildlife-rich greenspace that is managed sustainably, and where economic and social development works with nature, not against it"
