Northampton Women's Aid

The main focus of the work of Northampton Women’s Aid is on the provision of services for women and children who need help as a result of their experiences of domestic violence. Any woman or child who needs help and approaches Northampton Women’s Aid receives assistance - if not directly, then by being referred to someone who can help. NWA provides refuge accommodation in Corby, Daventry, Kettering and Northampton. Our refuge provision includes one which aims to work specifically with BME communities and a specialist refuge for substance misuse

With the exception of accommodation in the refuges (for which rent and service charge are payable) the services provided by Northampton Women’s Aid are free of charge to the women who use them. The services provided include Counselling, Floating Support & Outreach, Advice/DropIn Centre, support to children through the Family Support Workers.
