Safe Partnership Limited

Safe Partnership is the national charity that provides free, practical and immediate home security to older and vulnerable victims of domestic violence, dwelling burglary and hate crime; to those in fear of such crimes; and to those vulnerable to accidents in the home, in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The charity achieves this by working with statutory bodies, local police and other agencies to establish reactive and proactive home security schemes where they are needed locally. The basic elements of our schemes are:
a. The service is free at the point of delivery.
b. It is carried out as quickly as possible after a referral is received.
c. A robust referral system.
d. A security Installer (carpenter lock fitter) with a van containing a full range of security hardware who assesses the needs of the client and the safety and security requirements of their property; repairs damage caused by forced entry; fits appropriate locks to doors and windows, and other equipment as needed; gives crime prevention advice and instruction in using the locks and equipment fitted.
e. Monitoring and evaluation.
Because of the nature of the charity's work with vulnerable people all our staff are subject to CRB Enhanced Disclosure, including checking the Protection of Vulnerable Adults register.
All our Security Installers are trained in security surveying, lock fitting to manufacturers' instructions, in crime prevention and in domestic violence awareness.
