The Britain-Nepal Medical Trust engages with poor and disadvantaged groups in Nepal to improve their health status and their access to health services.

  • Mission statement

    BNMT assists the people of Nepal to improve their health through realisation of their health rights and access to health services. It does this by working in partnership with the Ministry of Health, international and local non-governmental organisations, local committees and village communities.

    BNMT supports actively the National Tuberculosis Programme in over 30 Districts. The Trust empowers women and supports their reproductive health. Through microfinance and marketing crafts it seeks to alleviate poverty and strengthens disadvantaged families and children for improved health status.
