NR5 Project

The NR5 Project is a community-based charity that uses the media and arts as tools for social inclusion that seeks to maximise enterprise and employment opportunities in deprived areas of Norwich. Based in West Norwich, in the heart of one of the regions most deprived areas, we raise aspirations, learning, formal accreditation levels and pathways to employment amongst the most difficult to ‘reach and teach’ young people and adults.

We achieve this through innovative engagement methods including community radio broadcasting, professional standard music rehearsal and recording studios with vocational music education programmes, a key stage 4 Alternative Provision for young people aged 14-16 at risk of permanent exclusion due to social, emotional and behavioral problems, film projects and a variety of short arts based and personal development projects.
