Charity information

Tuberous Sclerosis Association

The Tuberous Sclerosis Association (TSA) exists to provide support to families affected by Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC) across the UK. TSC is a multi-system disorder that affects between 3,700 and 11,000 people in the UK.

This debilitating disease sees the development of benign tumours in several organs, including the heart, brain, skin, kidney, liver and lungs. It is also characterised by high rates of neurological and neuropsychiatric abnormalities, including epilepsy.
