  • Mission statement

    Family Support Network (FSN) is a registered Charity that is dedicated to improving the quality of life of families and individuals who are socially excluded and economically inactive or disadvantaged regardless of their ethnic background, sexual orientation, age, gender, special needs or religious background.

    Family Suppprt Network works in a holistic way with families and indviduals through providing tailored programmes of education, training, Childcare, welfare support and advocacy services that are needs led, user friendly and accessible to people experiencing high levels of poverty, long term unemployment, low skills/educational attainment and experience multiple barriers in accessing mainstream services such as womens services, resettlement support services, health services, childcare,housing, employment, education and traning services.

    Community based education and training is an integral element of FSN's work in building the capacity of families and individuals to promote personal growth, to develop self pride and confidence to re-connect with the mainstream of society.
    Services provided by FSN maximise opportunities for personal growth and development, community links and involvement through it's education, training, recreational activities for families and indviduals, to develop their life/employment skills, build their self confidence and self advocacy skills to combat the effects of poverty and social exclusion.
