Birmingham Tribunal Unit

Birmingham Tribunal is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee established in 1986. Our principle aim and objective is to relieve poverty in Birmingham by providing free impartial, confidential advice and representation at appeals relating to social security benefits. We are part funded by Birmingham City Council, operate the legal help scheme under a not-for-profit civil contract held with the Legal Services Commission and hold a specialist quality mark in Welfare Benefits. In addition we are recognised both locally and nationally as providers of accredited welfare benefits training for advisors working in welfare benefits law.

We are continually seeking funds to provide a continuation of our existing free representation service. Interested donors should contact the organisation's Development Worker for further information.
