Carers Lewisham provides advice, information and support to anyone aged 8 to 98 in the borough of Lewisham who, unpaid, cares for a mentally or physically ill or disabled family member or friend.

  • Mission statement

    Carers Lewisham supports people who, unpaid, care for parents, children, partners other relatives or friends who have long term mental or physical disabilities, ill health or who are frail, including children who may care for siblings or parents - Young Carers. We work in the London Borough of Lewisham.
    We provide a range of advice, information, counselling and emotional support, relaxation sessions, support groups, Coffee Mornings, Men's Group, Parent Carers Group, Working Carers Drop in, Dementia Drop in, Mental Health Drop in, training on how to manage different illnesses and disabilities, respite breaks from caring and holiday grants, life long learning opportunities for people who have given up paid work to care, We also work in schools and provide clubs and activities for Young Carers.
    Our Mission is that all Carers in Lewisham are identified, valued and supported.
