  • Mission statement

Get Sorted Academy of Music provides a safe, vibrant, energetic and friendly environment to meet the creative and artistic needs of people in the Rotherham community. It enables young people to develop so they can be socially included into society.

We offer qualifications, develop entrepreneurial skills and support people with their learning and career choices. We provide a stable, friendly, relaxed environment which empowers young people to become independent. We aim to raise self esteem and develop motivation in a non-discriminatory and non-judgmental environment. Provision includes lessons in guitar, drums, singing, performing arts and more diverse and ethnic instruments for disadvantaged young people and adults. Our multi-media department covers digital sounds and images, animation, DJ skills, rapping and recording techniques. We have a learning centre for young people excluded from school.
