  • Mission statement

Shared Lives is a way of providing accommodation, care and support for adults with additional needs perhaps because of a learning disability, mental health issue or because of needs related to older age, including dementia.

Shared Lives services are based in the community and are provided in the family homes of experienced Shared Lives carers. People who use our services say that they enjoy living as part of a family and that it is a good way to be supported. Shared Lives support focuses on the strengths, abilities and aspirations of each individual.

Shared Lives South West delivers Shared Lives services across all of Cornwall and Devon.

Why do we need to raise money? Funds raised are used to help pay for extra social activities for people who use our services to help make sure everyone can get the most out of life/
