The Florence Nightingale Museum Trust

The Florence Nightingale Museum aims to show the extraordinary life and world-changing achievements of Florence Nightingale, and the impact her legacy has on us all today through developments in nursing and healthcare.

The Museum, located in the grounds of St Thomas’ Hospital in London, was officially opened by HRH Princess Alexandra in 1989. It now attracts more than 32,000 visitors a year and has gained a reputation as one of London’s best independent museums. It is constituted as a charitable company and is funded largely through self-generated income.
