To encourage the younger more able bodied younger generation to support their elders to continue to have meaning in their lives in comfort and pleasure
We aim at encouraging isolated older people to join in and take part in the enrichment programmes to home provides. Almost all are Holocaust survivors facing high levels of poverty and disability. They carry with them the trauma, losses and readjustment experiences since they had to flee their countries of origin. English is a second language for almost all of them. Orthodox Jewish older people experience exceptional difficulties in accessisng mainstream services targeted at older people because of social, cultural and language barriers.
