For more than 35 years, we have worked with women and children affected by domestic violence and abuse.

We offer a range of services, all of which are non-judgmental and non-directive.

Founded 1974

  • Mission statement

We work with women and children who are affected by domestic violence and abuse. Our aim is to enable women and children to live independent lives free from fear and harm.

We run several children's projects for children living in the community, in refuges, and children who have resettled with their carer away from the perpetrator. The aim of these projects is to provide therapeutic support to enable children to keep safe, understand and make sense of their experiences, and to achieve emotional wellbeing.

We also work with women giving non-judgemental, non-directive advice, support and help to women affected by domestic violence. This can include help with housing, debts, benefits, leaving the perpetrator, court orders, accessing solicitors.
