  • Mission statement

    RedR is an international charity that believes if the right people with the right skills are available to respond to natural disaster and conflict, more people’s lives can be saved.

    We deliver essential training to relief workers, and provide skilled professionals to humanitarian programmes around the world.

    In its 30 year history, RedR has placed engineers, health professionals and other technical experts in response to major catastrophes including the Ethiopian famine, the Rwandan Genocide and the Haiti Earthquake. In addition, currently run programmes in Sudan and Pakistan, through which we focus on the long-term needs of the region, helping local communities to rebuild their livelihoods and to prepare for future emergencies.
