  • Mission statement

Berkshire Maestros is a charitable trust providing music education opportunities to children and young people across Berkshire. Our mission is to inspire children and young people to make music. Working in partnership with parents, local authorities, schools and the local community, Maestros aims to provide a high quality, comprehensive musical experience to the widest group of pupils, regardless of their background, ability or financial circumstances.

We teach over 13,500 children and young people currently across the county of Berkshire, who are having instrumental lessons (either in school or one of our music centres), our many ensembles including performances and through the governments widening opportunities program.

Our teaching staff have specialisms in different types of music, from classical to jazz to rock to world music, so there's something to suit everyone.
