Event Mobility Charitable Incorporated Organisation

Through the provision of electric scooters and manual wheelchairs Event Mobility provides an independent day out for the elderly, disabled and mobility impaired.

Founded 1998

  • Mission statement

The relief of the disabled and elderly, in particular, by provision of powered wheelchairs, electric scooters and other mobility aids so that they have independence and access at countryside and other events.
Restricted mobility affects people of all colours and beliefs, irrespective of nationality or circumstances. It prohibits the disabled and elderly from participating in activities which the able-bodied take for granted. In an age of increasing leisure, many opportunities are denied to both groups resulting in further disadvantage and discrimination.
The Charity now attends over 70 events providing scooters and manual wheelchairs for the elderly and mobility impaired (whether temporary or permanent) to give the user independence to enjoy their visit.

  • Aims
