  • Mission statement

Community Transport (Swadlincote) a small registered charity operates a fleet of accessible vehicles enabling individuals who are unable to use ordinary conventional transport to undertake journeys normally taken for granted by members of the general public. In addition we provide transport for groups who wish to enhance community activities.

It is our belief that everyone has the right to be able to move about, to go where they want or need to go for holiday, visit friends, place of work or for the everyday necessities of shopping etc and yet for many thousands of people that right is denied, the doors are closed. Community Transport can only hope to open some of those doors with high financial control & support of the community it serves.
