Syeda is a regional charity that supports people suffering from an eating disorder and their carers.

  • Mission statement

    Providing hope, encouragement and support for people affected by eating disorders in South Yorkshire.
    Our vision is for people in South Yorkshire affected by eating disorders to achieve health and well being.
    Our Mission is to support those affected by eating disorders in South Yorkshire to reach recovery, through providing user led, self help based approaches.
    Our Aim is to offer information, advice and support to those affected by eating disorders in South Yorkshire so they have motivation, power and resilience to reach recovery.
    Syeda offers a number of support services to those affected by eating disorders - be they sufferers or carers. We offer a Self Help Support Group, counselling, complementary therapies, self esteem and body image courses and carer training as well as Training for professionals. We are also working on a number of new services that we hope to launch in the New Year.
