The Trust seeks to promote the National Forest and encourage people to be involved in its creation and to benefit from its educational and recreational facilities.

    To raise public awareness about climate change and environmental issues

    To do the above by transforming an area of dereliction from former mining into a new recreational and educational resource dressed as a regioanl visitor attraction themed on trees surrounded by a range of activites and accommodation for schools and tourists.

    This is located at the Heart of the National Forest in the Midlands

    • To transform derelict coal mines and quarries into a Forest Park providing educational and recreational facilites
