Youth Talk

Youth Talk offers free confidential one to one counselling and psychotherapy to distressed young people aged 14-25 who live, work or are educated in the St Albans district. The young people who contact us have worries and concerns about their families, food, sex, drugs, alcohol, problems with loss, grief, bullying, self harming, or are depressed, lonely or confused. Youth Talk offers a safe place where young people can talk about themselves and their difficulties with experienced, professionally trained counsellors who can help by listening and supporting them to find a way forward and to find their own solutions.
Youth Talk also offers dance and movement group work (usually within local secondary schools) as well as anger issues groups. Our parenting classes are also very popular, helping parents of teenagers to listen and to communicate better with each other.
