Oasis Aquila Housing

An award winning Christian Charity founded to meet the needs of homeless and vulnerable young people in North East England.

Founded 1984

  • Mission statement

Oasis Aquila Housing (Charity no. 1107554) operates several supported accommodation projects for vulnerable young people under age 30 and at risk families in London and the North East of England. We also operate the No Second Night Out Provision for rough sleepers in Gateshead, a Private Sector Bond Scheme to enable vulnerable people to access accommodation in the Private Rented Sector. We purchase affordable housing to let out to those in housing need, we provide employability coaching for vulnerable young people and early intervention work for at risk families, including tackling Domestic Abuse, Mentoring and Support for Young People in the criminal justice system and bespoke support for individuals with multiple and complex needs. All of our work is underpinned by a Volunteer Project that provides local volunteers to all of our projects.

We are an accredited provider of the Supporting People programme and a living wage employer.
