The Royal Medical Foundation

The RMF assists GMC registered doctors and their families who are in financial hardship. We help in many ways but try to assist the children of doctors where possible, especially to provide stability in critical exam years.

  • Mission statement

The main object of the Foundation is to support medical practitioners and/or their dependants who find themselves in financial hardship. There are three ways this help may be given:

    1. Regular payments to widows, widowers, civil partners and dependants

    2. The provision of one-off grants when urgent help is required

    3. Financial assistance with educational expenses

All awards are means-tested and reviewed annually.
