  • Mission statement

    The vision for Farnham castle is to be the pre–eminent entity in Intercultural education in the UK. As stated in our charitable objectives our goal is "To educate people in order to enable them to relate to people from other cultures". Based on our heritage as the leading provider of intercultural training for almost 50 years tempered with our ability to innovate to remain the leader in a much more competitive field.
    At the same time we recognise that, in Farnham Castle, we have a world class heritage site that is much in demand as a meeting and community event venue. The charity also has an object to protect and repair Farnham Castle. The charity seeks to preserve and maintain the historic 12th century castle that is a nationally important registered ancient monument and Grade 1 listed Bishop's Palace. By preserving the castle and the palace for the future, the charity will enable future generations of visitors to come and learn about the history of this country.

    • To make a positive difference in people’s lives by educating people in order to enable them to relate to people from other cultures.
    • To invest in the protection and preservation of the environment, for the benefit of the public by maintaining, repairing or restoring Farnham Castle which is of historic and architectural interest.
