The Seagrave Trust

A medical research charity specialising in the Management of Addiction and and Addiction Related Crime. To that end we provide detoxification services to HM Prison Service with clinics in HMP Belmarsh and HMP Woodhill. As a 'Not for Profit' organisation we desprately need finance for further research, training and business development. Our first major research project pioneered the research in Hair Analysis for the retrospective detection of drug use. This technique has proved invaluable in the treatment of addiction.

It is essential that we train our medical staff and develop our services. If we can do that we can make a further inpact into this important area of addiction medicine. To date, according to Prison Service information, our two clinics have assisted up to 64,000 people, both directly, as prisoners, and indirectly as family members. We have a high success rate in preventing the 'swing door' effect of drug addicted prisoners, thus reducing repeat drug related crime. Please assist us if you can.
