Carers Bromley

A carer is someone who, unpaid, looks after someone who needs their help because they have a physical or mental illness and are disabled or frail. Carers Bromley exists to support carers by giving them information, advice, emotional support and respite. We also offer 6 newsletters a year, back care advice, a telephone helpline, activities for young carers and a telephone check-in line. Our team of Carers Support Workers visit carers in their homes to explain our services and to supply immediate support. They also run support groups for carers.

The young carers on our database, the youngest of whom is 4, receive their own newsletter, the chance to have 1-1s with our young carers services staff, opportunities to be together to undertake age appropriate activities which include narrowboating, bowling, theatre visits, theme park trips, etc,
