We work with Deaf, hard of hearing and deafened people of all ages across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire focusing on ability rather than disability.

    To provide positive and empowering services and opportunities responding to the needs of the Nottinghamshire Deaf communities of all ages. Based in an accessible Community Centre building we offer a wide variety of facilities, activities and services for Deaf people of all ages and their carers and volunteers.

    Nottinghamshire Deaf Society aims to:

    • Enabling better communications between deaf and hearing people.
    • Expressing the voice of deaf people to local decision makers
    • Offering specialised support services tailored to the needs of deaf people.
    • Providing a community space which is culturally accessible to deaf people.
