We are working towards a future when no animal is refused help, and every animal entering our care is found a suitable and loving home in the shortest possible time or cared for by us with dignity.


Our Mission is to be one of the leading animal welfare charities for the care and rehabilitation of animals, providing a unique and professional service to the public by re-homing, re-training or retiring any animal that enters into our care. No animal will be refused help, and no animal will be destroyed except on veterinary advice


To achieve our Vision, and fulfil our Mission, the National Animal Welfare Trust has developed a set of values that will guide and underpin our work.

Non destruction - No healthy animal well be destroyed

Rehabilitation of animals through re-homing, re-training, retirement

Highest standards of animal care through our: staff and facilities, veterinary care, selection and audit-matching animal and owner, micro-chipping, and emergency pet care
