  • Mission statement

Founded in 1984, Vale Wildlife now treats over 4,500 wildlife casualties every year and offers help and advice to thousands of people throughout the UK.
Animals are treated and rehabilitated in our purpose-built hospital containing full veterinary facilities including x-ray.
The main aim of the charity is to release the animals back into their natural environment as soon as they are fit.
Conservation and education are two vitally important subjects which we take very seriously.
We have obtained planning permission for the building of an Education and Training Centre and have launched a £400,000 appeal to raise the money to build it so that we can expand on the wildlife courses and school/college education we carry out already. The Centre will allow us to take students from abroad as well as the UK.

  • Aims

Vale Wildlife Hospital & Rehabilitation Centre aims to:

    • To rescue, treat and rehabilitate sick, injured and orphaned wild mammals and birds and return them back into their natural environment once fully recovered.
    • To advance the education of the public in the care and treatment of the UK's wildlife and their habitats.
    • To provide comprehensive, hands-on training to students and members of the public who are seeking to get involved in wildlife rehabilitation in the workplace.
